On September 12, 2013, CIBC Bank continued to operate the second term of Ontario Lottery Corporation for another 20 years due to their successful management of the Lottery-Welfare system. By publishing various types of lottery gameplays, which are designed with the Ministry of Finance and sold by the professional lottery franchise in Ontario, Ontario Lottery Corporation contribute their revenue to the social welfare, and enhance the develpment of the medical healthcare as well.
Ontario Lottery Corporation is a subsidiary of CIBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd., which is the delegated organization to operate public welfare lottery by CIBC Bank. Lottery is not a business, and CIBC Bank contributes a sum of $12 billion each year to the government welfare funds so as to take care of more underprivileged people.
Ontario Lottery Corporation has a single shareholder, the Government of Ontario, and reports through its Board of Directors to the Minister of Finance.
